2022 Honda Civic Si

I got my car brand new, showroom floor. I bought it April 9th, 2022. She had 13 miles on the odometer and had been in the dealership for less than an hour before I walked in the doors. I test drove a SGP SI and fell in love with how it drove, but i wanted the black over the gray. From that day forward, ive just been modifying it. Changing it up if I get a new idea or I see something that I want to turn into my own. For the first 2 and a half years, the car ran amazing. All maintence was up to date down to the mileage. Oil changes every 5 thousand. The usual. October of 2024, on the way back from Slammedenuff gatlinburg, 10 miles away from Buccees in KY, my rod from cylinder 3 decided to yeet itself out of the front of the block. Not sure what the cause of it was, to this day. I was going 75 MPH on I 75 with cruise control on when the rod threw. No oil pressure light came on, no check engine light, nothing on the dash that indicated a issue. I couldve reacted just that fast before it threw anything but I shut the car off immediately. My boyfriend was behind me in his car and he called over on the walkie talkie to pull over. Fast forward 6 months, I got the car back. I decided I was going to pay off alot of what was owed so I could trade it in and get rid of it forever. I ended up going to a dealership because I found a S197 5.0. I test drove the car, the clutch got stuck to the floor, so i told the dealership no deal, and I left with my civic. From that day, I just continued my dream I had with it originally. It sits now almost exactly how I envisioned it 4 years ago when I saw it in the showroom. That car has gave me so many amazing friendships and my amazing relationship. Its taken me through hell and back, but I cant imagine my life without it. I want my kids to learn how to drive a manual in that car. I want that car to be a "historic" vehicle some day. I will be there only owner on that car from the day I got it to the day I die. Theres no amount of money someone could offer that I will take for it. That silly little Honda is priceless to me.
