I found my MX5 NC3 at a German car site and bought it in November 2025, registered in Greece and got licence plates in January 2026 and I started searching car parts until May 2026. Then I gathered all the parts at the tuning shop and this beautiful journey started one more time! At first, we desmandle everything under the car, prep the floor ,then painted and last spray a black undercoat. Then we started installing all the aftermarket parts like:
1. IL motorsport aluminium radiator, aluminium expansion tank and black silicone hoses.
2. Malian Exhaust system with UEL manifold, mid pipe with cat and sport back box for Impreza sound.
3. KN filter inside the stock air box .
4. BC BR coilovers.
5. RX8 sway bars.
6. Strongflex poly boushings everywhere.
7. Quaife LSD.
8. Work emotion ck kiwami wheels in 17X9, ET38 in GT silver for perfect fitment.
9. Toyo TR1 tires in 225/45/17.
10. RX8 brakes, calibers painted yellow, disks, pads, braided brake lines (323mm front and 302mm rear disks).
11. Carbonmiata ducktail, painted in stormy blue,also the roll bar covers and the dash plastic trim.
12. Custom brown leather interior with yellow stitching like the steering wheel and the seat belts and the yellow calipers.
13. Revlimiter sunstorm yellow gauges.
14. Tomei shift knonb.
I have the 1800cc engine with ecu remap and has about 140hp for stage 1. It has the 5 speed gearbox, PRHT, factory navi, cruise control, 5 stage heeting seats and has the factory stormy blue colour.For stage 2 , I wanted a rotrex supercharger kit and about 220-230hp and 22Nm because the car desperately needs more power and also because I didn't want to lose the impreza sound from this wonderful UEL manifold by Malian Exhaust and of course the BOV sound! Unfortunately this solution is too expensive for what you get and probably will choose the 2.5 engine swap for 200hp and 26Nm for the half cost and far more reliable upgrade.
This is my weekend toy and after a month that Im driving it and 2000km, Im really happy with this build! Its really smooth on rough roads with the soft coilover set up and really sharp at corners at the same time and the impreza sound is awesome! It just needs more power!!!
