The GR Corolla dropped in 2023 and gave the hot-hatch world a serious problem. Toyota took the G16E-GTS 1.6L turbo three-cylinder from the GR Yaris, cranked it to 300 hp and bolted it into the E210 Corolla hatchback. All-wheel drive through the GR-FOUR system.
The GR-FOUR AWD system splits torque three ways: 60/40 front-rear in Normal, 30/70 in Sport, and 50/50 in Track. That rear bias in Sport mode makes the car rotate in a way no Corolla ever has.
Core Edition cars ride on 18x8 wheels with 235/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. The Circuit Edition (2023 only) added a carbon-fiber roof, forged wheels, and a Torsen limited-slip front differential. From 2024 on, Toyota rolled the front LSD into the base Core trim.
Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a 60.1mm hub bore. Factory offset sits around +45. Most owners running aftermarket 18x9.5 wheels land between +35 and +38 with 265/35R18 tires for a square setup that fills the fenders without pulling liners.
