BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 00-04 S40/V40

Item SKU: ZG-02-DS-DA

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 00-04 S40/V40. This vehicle-specific kit uses BC Racing's digressive-piston monotube dampers, aimed at giving the chassis more feedback through roll, dive, pitch, and quick weight changes without making higher-speed damper movement feel overly abrupt.

• DS damping design: The proprietary digressive piston and damping curve build more damping force at low piston speeds, where you feel body movement during braking, turn-in, and direction changes. At higher piston speeds, the damper keeps a more linear feel.
• Monotube dampers: A monotube shock layout with satin-chrome shock bodies. This stuff is built around consistent damping response rather than a fixed lowering spring setup.
• Independent ride-height adjustment: Set ride height without using spring preload as the adjustment. No more changing spring compression just to get the car sitting where you want it.
• Serviceable hardware: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components.
• Configuration options: BC Racing offers custom spring rates, custom valving, and compatible Swift spring upgrades for applicable DS configurations.

For an 00-04 S40/V40 that sees technical roads or track time, the DS Series focuses on the part you notice from the driver’s seat: clearer chassis movement and more useful feedback when the car is loading and unloading. Vehicle-specific mounting hardware and configuration are supplied for this kit.
