BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 05-12 Acura RL SH-AWD KB1/KB2

Item SKU: A-101-DS

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 2005-2012 Acura RL SH-AWD, chassis KB1/KB2. This is a vehicle-specific kit built around BC Racing's monotube DS damper, using a digressive piston and damping curve aimed at giving the car more feedback through roll, pitch, braking dive, and quick weight transfers.

• DS damping design: The digressive piston increases damping force at lower piston speeds, where body movement shows up, while keeping a more linear damper feel as piston speed rises over rougher pavement.
• Monotube dampers: Monotube construction gives the DS Series its damper layout, with satin-chrome shock bodies.
• Independent ride-height adjustment: Set ride height without using spring preload as the adjustment. No more changing spring compression just to get the car sitting where you want it.
• Built to service: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components.
• Configuration options: BC Racing offers custom spring rates, custom valving, and compatible Swift spring upgrades for applicable DS configurations.

For an RL SH-AWD that sees spirited road driving or track work, this stuff is about keeping the chassis more composed when the weight moves around. You can set the height independently, then focus on how the car behaves instead of working around a compromised preload setting.
