BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 09-14 Genesis V8 incl. R-Spec Sedan BH

Item SKU: M-20-DS

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 2009-2014 Genesis V8, including the R-Spec Sedan BH. This is the DS setup for the V8 sedan, built around BC Racing's digressive piston and damping curve rather than a generic damper tune.

• DS damping design: The digressive piston increases damping force at low piston speeds, where body roll, pitch, brake dive, and quick transitions are felt most. At higher piston speeds, it retains a more linear damper feel.
• Monotube dampers: The DS Series uses a monotube shock design with satin-chrome shock bodies.
• Ride-height adjustment: Height is adjusted independently of spring compression, so setting the car where you want it doesn't mean using spring preload as the height adjustment.
• Built for service: These coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components.
• Configuration options: BC Racing supports custom spring rates, custom valving, and compatible Swift spring upgrades for applicable configurations.

For a Genesis V8 that sees spirited road driving or track use, this stuff is about getting clearer feedback from the chassis when the car rolls, dives, or changes direction. The independent height adjustment also makes it easier to dial in ride height without changing spring compression in the process.
