BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 09-18 Corolla/Altis EXTREME BY DEFAULT ZRE142/AZE141/E140/E150/E170

Item SKU: C-24-DS-DA

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 2009-2018 Corolla/Altis, configured Extreme by default for ZRE142, AZE141, E140, E150, and E170 chassis applications. This is a vehicle-specific kit, not a universal set of struts with generic brackets.

• DS damper design: BC Racing's proprietary digressive piston and damping curve add damping force at low piston speeds, where body roll, pitch, dive, and quick transitions are felt most.
• Monotube construction: The DS Series uses monotube dampers with satin-chrome shock bodies.
• Ride-height adjustment: Height is adjusted independently from spring compression, so setting ride height doesn't mean preloading the spring just to get the car where you want it.
• Extreme by default: This Corolla/Altis application is listed as Extreme by default. It is not the standard-height version of the kit.
• Serviceable parts: DS Series coilovers are rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components for the system.

For a Corolla or Altis that sees spirited road use, this stuff is about making chassis movement easier to read. The digressive DS setup is intended to give more support during the smaller, faster movements that happen when you're turning in, braking, or changing direction, while maintaining a linear damper feel at higher piston speeds. No more tying ride height directly to spring compression when you're dialing in the car's stance.
