BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 18- Tiguan FWD/AWD 5N

Item SKU: H-36-DS-DA

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 18- Tiguan FWD/AWD 5N. This is a vehicle-specific kit built around BC Racing's monotube damper and proprietary digressive piston design, with ride-height adjustment that doesn't rely on preloading the spring.

• DS damping: The digressive damping curve adds more damping force during low-speed suspension movement, where body roll, brake dive, pitch, and quick transitions are felt most. At higher piston speeds, it retains a more linear damper feel.
• Ride height: Height is adjusted independently of spring compression, so you can set the car's ride height without using spring preload as the adjustment method.
• Monotube construction: The DS Series uses a monotube shock layout with satin-chrome shock bodies.
• Serviceable parts: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components rather than making the whole kit disposable.

For a Tiguan that sees more than normal commuting, this stuff is aimed at making suspension movement easier to read through the wheel and seat. No more treating ride height and spring compression as the same adjustment. BC Racing also offers custom spring rates, custom valving, and Swift spring upgrades for applicable DS configurations.
