BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 85-99 Jetta II/III A2/A3

Item SKU: H-01-DS-DN

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 1985-1999 Jetta II/III A2/A3. This vehicle-specific kit uses BC Racing's digressive-piston monotube dampers for drivers who want more information from the chassis without making every higher-speed suspension movement feel overly stiff.

• DS damper design: The proprietary digressive piston adds damping force at low piston speeds, where roll, pitch, brake dive, and quick transitions are happening. At higher piston speeds, the damping curve is designed to retain a linear feel.
• Monotube construction: A monotube shock layout with satin-chrome damper bodies.
• Independent ride height: Set ride height without using spring preload as the adjustment. That makes it easier to get the car sitting where you want it while keeping the spring setup consistent.
• Built to service: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components. This stuff can be maintained rather than treated as a disposable suspension kit.
• Configuration options: BC Racing offers custom spring rates, custom valving, and compatible Swift spring upgrades for applicable configurations.

For an A2 or A3 Jetta that sees back-road driving, track days, or just a driver who pays attention to weight transfer, the DS Series is aimed at improving feedback when the car leans, dives, and changes direction. No more tying ride height changes directly to spring compression. This is the BC Racing DS Series kit listed specifically for 1985-1999 Jetta II/III A2/A3 applications.
