BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 1989-1992 Galant VR-4, chassis E39A/E38A/E37A. This is a vehicle-specific DS Series kit, built around BC Racing's monotube damper with its proprietary digressive piston design.

• DS damping: The digressive piston increases damping force at low piston speeds, where body roll, brake dive, pitch, and quick transitions are happening. At higher piston speeds, it keeps a more linear damper feel instead of becoming needlessly harsh over rough pavement.
• Monotube construction: A monotube shock layout with satin-chrome shock bodies. It is the DS Series configuration, not a different BC Racing coilover line.
• Independent height adjustment: Ride height is adjusted separately from spring compression. That means you can set the car where you want it without using spring preload as the height adjustment.
• Serviceable parts: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components. Useful when the car is kept long term and this stuff eventually needs service rather than replacement.
