BC Racing DS Series Coilover - 96-02 Z3/Z3M (On-Center and Off-Center Mounts Available) E36/7/8

Item SKU: I-10-DS-DA

BC Racing DS Series coilovers for the 1996-2002 BMW Z3 and Z3M, chassis E36/7/8. This vehicle-specific kit is listed with On-Center and Off-Center mounts available, so make sure the mount configuration matches what’s on your car.

• DS digressive damping: BC Racing’s proprietary digressive piston and damping curve adds damping force at low piston speeds while keeping a more linear damper feel as piston speed increases. That matters during roll, brake dive, pitch changes, and quick transitions.
• Monotube dampers: The DS Series uses a monotube shock design with satin-chrome shock bodies.
• Independent ride-height adjustment: Height is adjusted separately from spring compression, so you can set the car where you want it without using preload as the ride-height adjustment.
• Built to stay serviceable: DS Series coilovers are fully rebuildable, and BC Racing offers individual replacement components when this stuff eventually needs attention.
• Configuration options: BC Racing offers custom spring rates, custom valving, and compatible Swift spring upgrades for applicable DS Series configurations.

This is the DS setup for the E36/7/8 Z3 and Z3M crowd looking for more feedback through the chassis without losing the ability to properly set ride height. The digressive damper design is aimed at the parts you actually feel when driving hard: initial body movement, braking transitions, and changing direction.
