Originally purchased this car from a friend in 2014. Had to move overseas in 2017, so I sold it to another rotor-head. Fast forward to 2025, and he is moving this time - so he offered it back to me, with some new parts, but needing to be re-painted.
I immediately jumped at the chance to get my car back, and sold my daily driver, and a few other projects to immediately fund the FD. I built the motor with my 2 sons, showing them the how & why about seals, porting, and lapping. My 13 year old wants to become an engineer so him and I custom designed a set of wheels in CAD, and had them made with inspiration from a bit of all of my favorite wheels. My oldest and I did all the body work ourselves, and installed the widebody setup.
Nostalgia + family build time = winning.
