The car was originally purchased by me from a friend who found the FD (in Texas) back in May of 2016, It had some issues, which I slowly began working on. Fast forward to August of 2017 - and the Army produced orders to me to deploy to Afghanistan shortly, and I had a follow-on assignment all the way across the country. I sold the car to a friend and sadly moved on. 2024 rolled around, I had just retired from the Army, and I saw it pop up for sale. I reached out to him and we came to an agreement, and I had the car shipped to me (back to Texas with the 7, lol). The paint needed attention, the fenders and door was damaged, and the ECU was bricked.
A quick widebody install, engine rebuild, and bodywork later, and it's about to back on the road.
