2006 Nissan 350Z - 2JZ Turbo Swap

The story

I bought it as a project second hand from a friend about 8 years ago now. Paid 14k for it. Was 61k miles chassis and had the paperwork for the imported Japanese gte vvti motor with 58k kilo on it. Was a solid starting point for the price point, and I've always liked the 350s but never cared for the Vq as a platform. So a low mile low kilo 2j 350z was sick. It of course came with its gremlins being another dudes project before me. But after alot of trial and error, different tunes, a new ecu master emu black, paying another local friend with a shop to do wiring since it's far above my understanding. And toying with different injectors e85 , boost levels etc. Ive currently settled on a borg warner s366 single with tial 50mm BOV and Waste gate. New Mishimoto intercooler. Some new lq9 coils for the lq9 conversion. And about 16psi on 93 since e85 is so scarce around me. Truthfully I wish I knew to get rid of the lq9 and get a better wiring harness sooner. Ive had constant issues with them since the beginning or to just not install the rolling anti lag. It's currently got a hood exit for the wastegate which was so dope at first but im so over it. That's probably the next thing ill change when I can convince myself to tweak it more. Should also say its got the jk41a 6speed in it which I'm happy with but the last year I've been heavily thinking about going 8hp70 due to constantly shifting for 11hrs every day in a semi and just really enjoying my auto daily because of it. Cars been special to me I've met alot of cool people I can call close family through conversations that started by them trying to buy it. Also thought about selling it, the last meaningful day out with it was over a year ago now when I along with a community of hundreds of friends paraded a car meet to another's funeral in honor of him. I havent been able to convince myself to take it out for longer than a quick jog to the gas station or around the block once or twice to circulate the fluids. Ive debated selling it but im blessed to have a wife that can see through my stubborn and refuses to let me. All in all its a fun project over the last almost decade, I have big plans and aspirations for it. Wheels since its still on nismo stocks and air suspension. A shady body kit that I cant get over the look of. And a house of kolour root beer kandy Metallic that I cant get over. Of course id like to finish the motor to my vision before the cosmetics, which is why its currently still OEM Gunmetal grey and stock wheels. Gonna shoot for 650-700 on 93, go precision 68 or so with t51r. Re route the wastegate, go full nismo bro and tomei the exhaust. And lastly GSC s2 272 cams with the supporting springs, just unsure if i wanna convert to shimless or not. But thats my story of the project 352Jz otherwise known as project Zupra!
